Norfolk back pain expert, Dr. Brad Robinson opened Wards Corner Chiropractic in 1988. Prior to his wellness education and spinal decompression experience, Dr. Brad Robinson graduated cum laude from Central Michigan University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. Before becoming a chiropractor, he was a high school science teacher and coached football, swimming, and baseball. Due to his growing interest in natural chiropractic care following the positive treatment he received following a car accident, he enrolled in Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Ga. in 1983.
Following graduation from Life Chiropractic College in 1986, Dr. Brad Robinson practiced as an associate at Wright Chiropractic Clinic before opening his own practice, where he continues his work as a Norfolk chiropractor. He is licensed both by the Virginia Board of Medicine and in his home state of Michigan to practice chiropractic care and spinal decompression methods. In addition to spinal decompression therapy, he also incorporates massage therapy to help patients with neck pain, lower back pain, and migraine pain, as well as many other symptoms and conditions, including fibromyalgia and sciatica.
Norfolk Chiropractor Dr. David Milot joined Wards Corner Chiropractic as an associate in 2005. His studies began in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Calif., where he received a certificate in Radiologic Technology in 1985. The following year, he began a two-year mission in Geneva, Switzerland working with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he found inspiration focusing on the benefits of natural chiropractic care. In 1991, he enrolled at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City graduating with honors in 1994 before heading east and opening his own practice in South Boston, Va., which he operated for nine years.
Dr. Brad Robinson carries many credentials as a back and spine/expert and has served as president for several organizations including: the Virginia Society of Chiropractic, the Hampton Roads Chiropractic Association, and Wards Corner Merchants Association. He is currently past-president of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association. Additionally, Dr. Brad Robinson continues to be an active member of several other chiropractic organizations. As a member of all these organizations, he is able to continually share information and techniques with other chiropractors while also learning about new technologies and methods.
In 2009, Dr. Brad Robinson was named "Chiropractor of the Year" by the Virginia Chiropractic Association, and he became a commissioner for the Norfolk Hospital Authority Board. He combined his chiropractic and athletic expertise and in 2008 was named the official chiropractor for the Norfolk Admirals Hockey team. Preceding that, from 1986 through 1991, he worked as the Granby High School football program team's doctor. In 2011, Dr. Robinson was named as a member of the Norfolk Public School Board.
