Natural Chiropractic Care

Our natural chiropractic care methods are effective, non-invasive and drug free ways of overcoming pain through correcting misalignments in the spine. Dr. Robinson is highly-skilled and experienced at analyzing where a patient's spine is out of line, and then correcting those misalignments. When the spine is misaligned, messages from the brain that are sent through the nervous system can be blocked because the nerves carrying those messages are pinched. When these misalignments are corrected, pain can be eliminated and health restored. Dr. Robinson has also seen many pediatric cases and helped these children with chronic childhood illness and spinal conditions.


Norfolk Chiropractic Corrective Exercises

We teach our patients special rehabilitative exercises that are specifically designed to help strengthen and heal the parts of the body that need strengthening. We tailor each course of exercises to fit the patient's problem so that as we go through the course of chiropractic treatment, patients can continue their healing and strengthening process at home between visits. This ensures that people become stronger and less likely to have the pain return.

We often find it helpful to coach our patients on certain activities they should avoid or do differently to avoid aggravating their particular health challenge. Spinal Decompression Traction Therapy

Norfolk Spinal Decompression

This is a comfortable, state-of-the-art non-surgical spinal decompression therapy that, through the use of gentle traction force applied in a series of stretching and resting cycles, relieves the pressure in herniated, ruptured and degenerating discs, thereby relieving pain. By relieving pressure from the injured sites of the spine, the vacuum created by the traction force within the discs frees up pinched nerves and enables increased circulation of nutrients and oxygen through the spine, kicking the body's own healing mechanisms into gear and relieving pain.


Spinal Postural Screenings

Postural screenings are an important part of chiropractic care. Because the health and position of the spine are important for avoiding injury and reaching optimum health, maintaining correct posture is critical. Our chiropractor can determine whether or not a person has misalignments in the spine and guide patients toward postural improvements and lifestyle changes that will help our patients stay fit and relieve or avoid pain altogether.
